In late September, the National College for Nuclear (NCfN) has officially begun recognising courses offered by the WINS Academy.
Earlier this summer, NCfN and WINS signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a collaborative approach to raising the awareness and knowledge of nuclear security for individuals working in the UK nuclear sector.
NCfN’s recognition of WINS Academy courses and professional certification is a step in this direction. This recognition confirms the quality, adequacy and sustainability of WINS Academy courses to be provided to those working within the UK’s nuclear industry.
The NCfN is part of the UK’s Department of Education and was created to support the delivery of key infrastructure projects in the UK. The main aim of NCfN is to provide higher level technical skills training to help ensure a skilled workforce in the UK.
