The WINS 2013/2014 Members Satisfaction Survey, which closed on January 20, 2014, generated strong interest among our members. Its results show a very consistent picture in 2013 compared to 2012 and 2010, and indicate real satisfaction with our activities and publications. Indeed, 96.5% of members believe that they benefit from their membership at WINS and 99.1% consider WINS as a valuable forum for exchanging best practices on nuclear security.
The full questionnaire’s results are summarised below for those participants that expressed a view:
WINS achieved ISO 9001 certification in December 2012 and as a quality organisation, we continuously strive to benchmark our own performance, and we therefore appreciate our members’ feedback.
During this survey, members provided valuable ideas and suggestions. We identified Cyber Security, Security of Sources, Transport Security, Insider Prevention and Human Reliability, and Compliance with International Recommendations as being popular topics that members wish WINS to further address. This will help us organising further workshops, publications, and in the development of our WINS Academy professional development courses and training materials.
To enhance interaction with our members, we are pleased to announce that a periodic newsletter will be circulated, starting in January 2014. This month, our bulletin includes a short WINS Academy questionnaire about your beliefs on nuclear security.
Sincere congratulations to Mr. Alan Borras from the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute who won the WINS survey prize of US $150 for responding to the questionnaire!
