WINS Workshop on the Nuclear Security Summit Radiological Security

During the 2014 Nuclear Security Summit in the Netherlands, 23 countries*, including the U.S. and Norway, signed up to a gift basket to secure IAEA Category 1 radioactive sources within their territory by 2016. This gift basket identified 13 activities in support of the IAEA Code of Conduct and Nuclear Security Series 14 & 15. In preparation for the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit, the U.S. and Norway have asked the World Institute for Nuclear Security (WINS) to facilitate a workshop to discuss how countries will meet or have met the commitments of the Gift Basket.
