WINS Article on Promoting Competence in Nuclear Security in Nuclear Engineering Magazine

The latest issue of the Nuclear Engineering International (NEI) Magazine features an article from WINS on “Promoting Competence in Nuclear Security”.

In this article, WINS calls on countries to drive forward national requirements for the certification of managers with responsibilities for nuclear security, and presents how the WINS Academy is an effort to make “demonstrable progress” on security competence and certification. We believe that building learning frameworks, developing quality materials, and creating an effective certification programme is likely to lead to sustainable improvements internationally, and envision that the WINS Academy Graduates will help build a network of security-trained professionals who can lead the effort to improve security culture worldwide.
