The Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) Global is now accepting applications for its 2021 Building Networks Among Women to Share Best Practices and Experience Working in Nuclear Security and Nonproliferation project. The deadline to apply is 14 June.
The objective of this project – which is receiving support from Global Affairs Canada – is to enhance the capacity of women working in the nuclear industry to further nuclear security and nonproliferation. The purpose of the grant programme is to provide participants a platform to share their experiences and lessons learned, develop important skillsets and find solutions to issues common to women working in the nuclear sector.
Included as part of this grant programme is training to develop necessary skills, help from the CRDF in carrying out a project at the participant’s home institution and a two-day meeting in Vienna, Austria. The six-month project is slated to run between July to December 2021. Accepted applications will be asked to commit to the duration of the programme.
