On 21 September, the Office of Global Material Security will be hosting an event highlighting the careers of women in radiological and nuclear material security. The discussion will centre on the experience and the significance of supporting and promoting women employed by related organisations and associations.
The side event, which will take place as part of the IAEA’s General Conference, will consist of two parts. The first portion will showcase short talks provided by women working in Kenya, Australia, Uruguay, Jordan and Lithuania and focus on opportunities and challenges in their career progression. The second part of the event will include a panel discussion facilitated by Ms. Rhonda Evans, Head of Programme Development at WINS.
