The Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) is accepting applications for its short course on nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament issues. This course – which will be held from 27 September to 1 October in Vienna, Austria – will be in person and open for diplomats based in Europe.
The course will take a deep dive into the non-proliferation regime and provide an overview of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, as well as ongoing issues related to nuclear non-proliferation, arms control, disarmament and nuclear security. The language of instruction for the course will be English.
The VCNDP will be accepting applications until 27 August 2021 and encourages applications from women and applicants who are from developing countries but who are currently in Europe. Due to the restrictions and uncertainties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, space is limited for the one-week course.
