The International Journal of Nuclear Security is accepting abstract submissions for the third special edition on Women in Nuclear Security. Launched in 2015, the International Journal of Nuclear Security is an open-access publication of the Institute for Nuclear Security.
Because women continue to be underrepresented in the nuclear security workforce, comprising less than 25%, this special issue aims to showcase the accomplishments of women in nuclear security and related fields – and those of allies who are committed to gender equality. For this issue, the journal welcomes papers on topics of nuclear, non-proliferation as well as relevant fields.
The first author on all submitted papers must be a woman or gender-diverse person. Submissions are welcome from male allies on topics related to women’s impact in the field or as second authors on technical papers. Authors may be academics or professionals of any nationality.
