The purpose of this report is to identify the current status of corporate governance arrangements for nuclear security by reviewing the information and assurances offered by the industry and its security regulators. To assess this, we started with the countries that indicated their intention to attend the 2014 Nuclear Security Summit in the Netherlands. Then we reviewed the published Annual Reports (AR) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reports of the largest nuclear companies and their regulators in each country. By reviewing these reports, WINS aims to establish the current state of corporate governance reporting, identify best practices and related statements, and make recommendations for the future. Because this report is the first to present a consolidated list of AR and CSR reports from nuclear organisations, it also provides a useful reference.
