Security of Radioactive Sources in Industrial Applications: Industrial Radiography and Well-logging

This WINS International Best Practice Guide provides a set of best practices for industrial radiography and well-logging service companies to manage the security of their radioactive sources. Client companies could also benefit from the best practices found in this Guide to ensure the appropriate management of security by the service companies under contract.

This Guide also contains a Self-Assessment Questionnaire that organisations can use to evaluate the security of their radioactive sources used in well logging or industrial radiography. The results of the Self-Assessment Questionnaire can then be applied to the five-level Maturity Scale in the Guide.
