Webinar Series: Nuclear Security Threats in Conversation with Industry Experts

WINS has developed a series of three webinars exploring different topics related to threats in the nuclear sector. The priority audience for this series was WINS Academy alumni and it was designed and delivered with the support of international experts. The first webinar on Understanding and Dealing with Threats was held on 11 November 2021. The webinar comprised two sessions which were:

• Culture and Threats.
• Insider Threats from a Nuclear Facility Perspective.

Our special guests for the webinar were:

• Dr Christopher Hobbs, Professor in Science and International Security within the War Studies Department at King’s College London, and Director of the King’s Institute for Applied Security Studies (KIASS);
• Ms Stacy Snook works in the Strategy & Policy area of Security and Resilience at Sellafield Ltd;
• Mr Carl Davidson works as Vetting Aftercare Engagement Officer at Sellafield Ltd.
