Webinar Series: Nuclear Security Threats in Conversation with Industry Experts

WINS has developed a series of three webinars exploring different topics related to threats in the nuclear sector. The priority audience for this series was WINS Academy alumni and it was designed and delivered with the support of international experts. The second webinar on Regulatory Perspective on Threats was held on 18 November 2021. The webinar comprised two sessions which were:

• Using Threat Assessment to Influence the Regulatory System.
• How is Regulation Evolving to Counteract Threats.

Our special guests for the webinar were:

• Mr Moses Oboo, Senior Radiation Officer within the Inspection and Enforcement Department of the Uganda Atomic Energy Council;
• Mr Tony Snoeck, Section Head at the Federal Agency for Nuclear Control (FANC), Belgium;
• Dr Christine Noonan, Applied Social Scientist and Programme Manager at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).
