This event is designed around presentations from international experts and leading thinkers on the topic and will build upon IAEA Nuclear Energy Series NG-G-3.1 on Milestones in the Development of a National Infrastructure for Nuclear Power, specifically issue #15 “Nuclear Security” and the IAEA Nuclear Security Series Guide NSS 19 on Establishing the Nuclear Security Infrastructure for a Nuclear Power Programme. Additionally, WINS has invited guest speakers from newcomer countries that will represent the three phases to establish a nuclear power programme.
This online event will be made of a series of on-demand activities released between the 1st and 15th of June 2020 and of a live-session on June 18th 2020 to review with selected experts the key elements of the topic
The session included live interaction with the attendees to further discuss the topics covered by the on-demand sessions. This session also included virtual plenary and table discussions,break-out groups, quizzes.
