Dr. Yakubu Viva Ibrahim is the first Academy participant to have completed and successfully passed the WINS Academy certification examinations for Scientists, Technicians and Engineers (STEs). By earning this certificate in Science and Engineering for Nuclear Security, Dr. Ibrahim has shown a deep personal commitment to educational excellence and we hope that his experience will inspire others.

Dr. Ibrahim has a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from Ahmadu Bello University and Argonne National Laboratory. Since 2008, he has been a research fellow at the Centre for Energy Research and Training, Nigeria, and before his current position, he was a Senior Regulatory Officer at the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
