The IAEA’s Division of Nuclear Security is looking for a qualified Nuclear Security Officer to establish and carry out projects related to nuclear security centre on identifying threats and risk-informed approaches.
Some of the functions according to the job posting for this position include the following:
• Develop and update nuclear security guidance and technical documents in the area of physical protection of nuclear material and nuclear facilities.
• Develop systems, methodologies, procedures and training material in the area of physical protection of nuclear material and nuclear facilities.
• Prepare and implement capacity-building activities in the area of physical protection of nuclear material and nuclear facilities, including conducting training, workshops, exercises and seminars.
