INMM Plans Workshop in 2019 on Establishing Trust

On 12-13 March 2019, The US Southwest Professional Chapter of the Institute for Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) will host a workshop at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Titled Just Trust Me, the workshop will focus on how to establish and authenticate trust in the people, systems, equipment and data that make up safeguards, security, and arms control regimes. Questions that will be addressed include:

  • How do we establish and authenticate trust?
  • Are there ways we can improve trust for common goals across safeguards, security and arms control?
  • What happens when trust deteriorates or when too much trust leads to the wrong conclusion?

Potential topics include cyber and information security, trusted/untrusted data systems, physical security, supply-chain security, human factors, autonomous/artificial intelligence, and insider threat and mitigation.
