During the month of September, WINS had the pleasure of hosting Ms. Charu Sharma, Research Scholar at Homi Bhabha National Institute in India, as part of CRDF Global’s Robin Copeland Memorial Fellowship programme.
Ms. Sharma, who is currently working on her PhD, was able to participate in various projects at WINS, including a webinar on the Development of Training in the ASEAN Region and an in-person workshop on Mitigating the Cyber Insider Threat in the Nuclear Sector.
During her month-long fellowship at WINS, Ms. Sharma also registered for WINS Academy module on Nuclear Security for Scientists, Technicians and Engineers and plans to complete her learning journey and become certified.
In addition to this, Ms. Sharma had the opportunity to attend the IAEA’s 68th General Conference held 16-20 September and to further visit Austria’s research reactor.
