We are proud to count among our WINS Academy Graduates Mr. Eric MacArthur, who recently obtained certification in Nuclear Security Executive Management.
Eric MacArthur is a consultant working on a project with Bruce Power in Canada helping to create a Centre of Excellence for Nuclear Security and Emergency Management, which will become a globally recognized source of training, information and advisory services for leaders and practitioners in selected areas of expertise. Eric is also an adjunct professor for the Canadian Forces College offering an on-line version of Masters-level staff education for Canadian and Allied officers. He is familiar with the positive and negative aspects of web-delivered distance learning, so [he noted] “was pleased to learn that the WINS Academy programme is informative, well-designed, user-friendly and highly effective. Everything worked perfectly, including the examination process. The WINS Academy staff are highly professional and approachable.”
Even though Eric does not have a background in the nuclear industry, the WINS Academy Foundation and Executive Manager modules have provided a significant educational experience that enhances his role as a consultant in planning processes.
