New Report Offers Snapshot of Accomplishments Made at Nuclear Security Summits

The Nuclear Security Summit: Accomplishments of the Process is the final report in a series of six published by the Arms Control Association (ACA) and the Partnership for Global Security (PGS) during the summit process. It is a cumulative snapshot of what states have done to strengthen nuclear security from April 2010 to January 2016.

Featuring 53 country profiles, the report outlines progress made by summit states in nuclear and radiological security, counter smuggling, education and training, governance structures, and participation in joint statements.

The report highlights the significance of continuing the summit tradition of nuclear security commitment-making and strengthening the international nuclear security system after the summit process concludes in April 2016.

This report is co-authored by Michelle Cann, PGS’ Director of Operations and Projects, Kelsey Davenport, Director of Nonproliferation Policy at ACA and Jenna Parker, PGS’ Nuclear Security Analyst.
