The IAEA is hiring a Nuclear Security Office as part of its Division of Nuclear Security.
The Nuclear Security Officer will provide expertise and deliver radiological crime scene management content to the IAEA’s Member States.
The qualifications and experience for the job vacancy include the following:
– Bachelor’s degree- University degree in Nuclear Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Chemistry or Nuclear Security related discipline.
– Minimum of five years’ experience working in nuclear security
– Experience in developing guidance and training materials in the relevant subject areas
– Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
– Experience in working with international organisations or institutes is not a must but desirable.
