WINS is delighted to announce that Kathleen Heppell-Masys has been elected to the WINS Board in an Extraordinary General Assembly of the Voting Members.

Ms Heppell-Masys has served as Vice-President of Nuclear Operations Oversight at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited since 2023 and previously served as Director-General of Security and Safeguards at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. She has a wealth of experience in the development of nuclear regulatory policies, in the regulatory oversight of nuclear safety, security, international safeguards, non-proliferation and safety management, and in operations effectiveness.
