WINS Board Member Appointed to Board of UK Office for Nuclear Regulation

WINS Board Member Jean Llewellyn, OBE, has been appointed as the new Security Non-Executive member to the Board of the UK Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR).

“I am delighted and honoured to have been appointed as a NED on the Office for Nuclear Regulation Board and as Chair of the Security Sub Group. I look forward to working with the excellent ONR team and Board to take this important agenda forward,” she said.

Ms Llewellyn began her appointment 1 October and will serve for a three-year term.

“Not only will Jean’s expertise be an asset for ONR, I also hope this position will facilitate closer cooperation between WINS and ONR, to the benefit of both organisations,” Will Tobey, Chair of the WINS Board, said.

ONR is the independent nuclear safety and security regulator in the UK.
