The COVID-19 virus is a challenge for all of us, and WINS is no exception. Still, we will continue to provide our services in appropriate ways.
We are stepping up our efforts to offer webinars and other remote opportunities to promote nuclear security. Our most recent video, a webinar on countering violent extremist threats, is available for WINS members here.
Some of our workshops will be impacted. Please see our events page for the latest updates. In line with the recommendations of the Austrian authorities, we have asked our team to work from home to protect both them and the community.
As always, the full scope of the WINS Academy Programme is available for purchase and for applications for scholarships. We have dedicated scholarships available for women and for men from ODA countries. The learning service is available entirely online. WINS, together with Pearson VUE, are also implementing online exams, so participants can take exams from remote locations (for example at home). We will keep you posted on this exciting development and its introduction. Please check with your local test centre regarding any scheduled exams.
Our Knowledge Centre includes a wide range of nuclear security information and Best Practice Guides that are free to download with a free WINS membership.
