In honour of International Women’s Day (IWD), WINS participated in this year’s IWD campaign through our various social media platforms to demonstrate how we are working to break the bias.
According to the IWD’s website, “Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.”
To mark the day on 8 March, WINS released a video about how we plan to break the gender bias – this year’s theme for IWD – in nuclear security.
In the lead up to 8 March, we made a series of social media cards featuring members of the WINS staff and how they think WINS is breaking the bias in nuclear security.
