The World Institute for Nuclear Security (WINS) and the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) cordially invite you to attend a side event of the IAEA General Conference titled “Integrating the Nuclear Security, Industry and Knowledge Summits,” which will be held on Tuesday, 23 September 2014, at 18:00 in Conference Room C4 in the Vienna International Centre, Vienna, Austria.
The final Nuclear Security Summit is expected to take place in the spring of 2016 and to be hosted by President Obama. The work on the agenda and next steps has already started. It is therefore critical to begin discussions now among the political, industry, and academic communities to support a broadened and effective scope of the next summit and continuation of the work after 2016.
