Purpose

 

Ensure that management and personnel with accountability for nuclear security are demonstrably competent.

 

Highlights

 

The joint statement suggests two way support the training of capable managers in this field:

 

  • Maintaining and enhancing domestic or regional training programmes
  • Participating in the development of best practice guides and training activities, such as those offered by the World Institute for Nuclear Security (WINS)
